University of Groningen Master’s Thesis & Graduation Deadlines 2026-2027
For the Master’s degree, their academic calendar varies by faculty according to the European academic calendar, but for graduation, for graduate of 2026-2027 will be:
- Graduation round 1 for the master’s degree will be in Nov 2026
- Graduation round 2 for the master’s degree will be in March 2027

- The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) has examinations on Saturdays for many days
- The faculty of Medical Sciences (UMCG) has no break during clinical rotation
- The Faculty of law incase for re-sit, may be scheduled during the teaching week from Monday to Friday
