- You must be adults from 18 and 59 years old
- You must be permanent South African residents
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must earn less than R625 per month to qualify
- You must not receive any other social grants from anywhere

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will be distributed on 2 June 2026, and the following shows the cycle distribution for all people
- An older person (60 to 74 years) will receive R2,400 grants
- An older person (75+ years) will receive R2,420 grants
- Disabled people will receive R2,400 grants
- Veterans (war veterans) will receive R2,420 grants
- For care dependency, people will receive R2,400 grants
- Foster child will receive R1,290 grants
- Child support people will receive R580 grants
- Grant-in-Aid people will receive R580 grants
Remember, you don’t need to reapply every month to get this money; the system will check your income from the government every month if you are capable of receiving. If the system shows you qualify, you will receive your grants
